Executive Committee

Purpose
The focus of the executive committee is to provide strategic guidance and direction in all areas of EMNGPS.

Executive Committee

Responsibilities

1. Oversee progress towards agreed objectives.

2. Measure effectiveness through monitoring, evaluating and reporting.

3. Ensure financial accountability.

4. Provide guidance and support.

5. Oversee external relationships.

6. Fulfil a consultative role.

7. Formulate policy and develop strategy.

8. Maintain the formal link with Skillshare International.

Composition
The executive committee members should reflect diversity, key skills and sector. Members elected at the AGM will include representatives from the following constituency areas:

  • Teacher
  • LEA
  • DEC

The hosting organisation will nominate a member to sit on the EC. The Chair and Vice Chair of EMNGPS will be elected from the members of executive committee. Others may be invited to participate in the work of the group. The EMNGPS project manager will attend EC meetings and provide the secretariat.
