Locality Groups

The role of locality groups is to plan and deliver the strategy in each area. They are responsible for:

1. Planning activities with local teachers and schools
2. Financial planning and reporting for all local activities
3. Identifying and involving key local players
4. Intervention in local opportunities

Six groups cover the local authorities in the East Midlands:
  • Global Education Leicester - Leicester City/Leicestershire
  • Global Citizenship Network - Derby City/Derbyshire
  • Global Dimension Network - Northamptonshire
  • Lincolnshire Global Teachers Network - Lincolnshire
  • Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire
  • Rutland
