Global Citizenship Resource Pack

The Global Citizenship resource pack has been designed to provide a range of resources and information for those wanting to introduce a global dimension into the classroom.

The first section provides information about different organisations in the region and how they can support teachers.

The second section has ideas and resources to support classroom activities that can easily be adapted for groups from Key Stage 1 through to professional training. The instructions are followed in each case by worksheets and other materials needed for the activity, and these can be photocopied as necessary.

The third section gives materials that could be used to support a training session with quotes and easily copied statements for overheads and handouts.

The fourth section gives activities that can be used with adults during a training session.

The pack was compiled by a working group of the East Midlands Network for Global Perspectives in Schools consisting of the following members:

Linda Barker

Global Education Derby

Ruth Godfrey

Support for Education in Environment and Development, University of Leicester

Alexander Kosogorin

MUNDI, Nottingham

Cathryn Gathercole
